Are you considering a hair straightening treatment but concerned about the safety of the process? It’s understandable to be cautious, especially given recent reports linking certain hair straightening treatments to cancer. However, Magic Sleek is different. In this article, we’ll explore the safety of using Magic Sleek treatment and why it’s a great option for achieving sleek, frizz-free healthy hair.
Formaldehyde-free
First, let’s address the elephant in the room. There have been concerns about hair straightening treatments causing cancer, specifically due to the presence of formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a colorless gas with a strong odor, often used in hair straightening treatments as a preservative. However, Magic Sleek is formaldehyde-free. This means that there’s no need to worry about any potential cancer-causing agents when using this treatment.
No Endocrine Disruptors
In addition to being free of formaldehyde, Magic Sleek contains no endocrine disruptors. These are chemicals that can interfere with hormone production and have been linked to a range of health problems. Instead, Magic Sleek is made with nutrient-rich ingredients like argan oil, aloe vera, and keratin. These ingredients work together to hydrate and nourish the hair, leaving it shiny, sleek, and free of frizz and flyaways.
Hydrating
Using Magic Sleek is also a great way to maintain healthy hair. The treatment helps to prevent split-ends and breakage, leaving your hair looking and feeling healthy. Additionally, the hydrating properties of Magic Sleek can help to improve the overall health of your scalp.
Customizable
One of the best things about Magic Sleek is that it’s a versatile treatment. It’s suitable for all hair types, whether your hair is naturally curly, wavy, or straight. It can also be customized to achieve different levels of straightness, from a subtle smoothing effect to pin-straight locks. And because Magic Sleek is a long-lasting treatment, you won’t have to worry about frizz or flyaways for months to come.
Safe
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a safe, effective hair straightening treatment, Magic Sleek is a great option. With its hydrating, nutrient-rich formula, it’s not only great for achieving sleek, frizz-free hair but also for maintaining healthy hair in the long term. And with no formaldehyde or endocrine disruptors, you can rest assured that you’re using a safe product. So why not give Magic Sleek a try and enjoy the benefits of smooth, shiny, and healthy hair?

Does this contain aldehydes?
Hello! Thank you for your question!
We have no aldehydes, formaldehydes or derivatives of this ingredients. That is how we diferent from other brand. We are safe alternative to other hair straightening treatments!
How is this different from Brazillian blow out? Does it remove color?
Thank you for your question! Magic Sleek has no formaldehyde releasing agents, phtalates, endocrine disreupters or derivatives. Magic Sleek can be used on all hair types, including bleached, damaged, henna-dyed and lye relaxed hair. You can wash and shampoo on the same day, get color treatment same day, and can swim in salt and chlorinated water after 10 days. Keratin treatments often contain methylene-glycol, a formaldehyde releasing agent, or they contain other aldehydes. Keratin treatments are ineffective on highly textured hair, and cannot be used on henna dyed or lye relaxed hair for 6 months. There is a 3 day wait time to shampoo, a 2 week waiting period to apply hair color, and swimming is not recommended. We hope this answers your question!
How much training does a hairdresser need to do Magic Sleek on my hair?
Hi, thank you for your question. Magic Sleek Professional products are only sold to licensed cosmetologists. We offer certification classes, but licensed stylists can perform Magic Sleek without taking our class. We recommend using our Salon Locator on our website and do some research on the salon you are interested in before making an appointment.
I have been using magic sleek for the past 7 years. I only do it once a year. However, these past 2 years my hair has been growing out so dry, coarse and unbearably frizzy. I have to use a flat iron to tame it and that is damaging my hair furtherly. I am considering to try with another product.

My hair after this treatment smells very bad, like chemicals, especially after shampooing with Magic Sleek sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. My kids tell me they can’t be next to me that it smells so bad. Also the hair get greasy and look lifeless after 2 days of not washing. Before Magic Sleek I could go 5-6 days without washing. I don’t recommend this treatment.

We are really happy to hear that! Thank you for your comment.
The information on your website is deceiving. It states that you are able to choose the level of straightness from pin straight or a subtle smoothing effect. As someone who has curly hair the formula has left my hair curly but made it easier and faster to dry. Based upon what was written after the treatment your hair should be able to dry straight depending on the level chosen.
Hello Joanna!
Did you receive a Magic Sleek Traditional treatment or an Express?
Usually, hair naturally dries to the desired results (with or without curls depending on what you choose).
If you have dry/damaged ends and you don`t want to trim them we recommend trying our Acai Oil to apply it before styling your hair. If you feel that you want to add moisturizing effect, please, try our Emergency Repair virals and you will see a huge difference.
If you have any additional questions, please, don` hesitate to call us at 732 536 1660 and one of our representatives will help you.
